Maureen Van Zandt Before starting her career as an actress, Maureen Van Zandt was a dancer, working for rock promoter Ron Delsener. She began training as a ballet dancer at the age of five, and she continued to practice a lot until she joined the ballet company at the age of seventeen. She made it clear that telling stories in the ballets was her primary objective. She started taking acting classes at this time as well, and she went on to try out for her first role.

Later, she started working as an actress. In 2000, she made her acting debut, appearing as Gabriella Dante in the main cast of the crime-drama series “The Sopranos.” She has appeared in a total of 28 episodes from 2000 to 2007.
